We continue to be fascinated by traditional stories and legends, even in this day of computers, Internet and new media technologies.

Canada's legends are often related to (Catholic) religion and worship. There are plenty of ghosts, and the devil himself, symbol of evil, often makes an appearance, as often as not ending up tricked by humans, despite the numerous pacts that he signs with them in exchange for their souls.

The myth or exaltation of the strong man has remained popular throughout the centuries, and Canada stories are no exception to this rule.
